Rescue Operation by Theruvoram, Kochi:

Babu - a monkey, 3 Deadly Poisonous Cobras, 1 Rat-snake & a 3-yr old Boy were the tools of a Snake Charmer to do the tricks in the public places for their survival. They were wandering in Kolenchery & Muvattupuzha areas of Ernakulam Dt. for the past one month. As per the report came in today's newspaper, Police & Social Activists turned a blind eye to this issue. As far as the child's safety & security is concerned, Theruvoram activists were on their feet to locate them. Police have arrested the man & remanded him. Snakes & monkey were handed over to the Forest Authorities and they left the wild animals at Thattekkad Forest Area.

Both mother & son were released through Kakkanad Court by Murugan Theruvoram, Police & Sisubhavan Authorities. Sisubhavan has taken temporary protection of the child & the mother was sent to her native place. It was really touching when snake charmer gave a heart-felt farewell to his pet Babu.
